As one of New York’s oldest Episcopal churches, The Parish of Calvary-St. George’s is delighted to present Candlelight: A Service of Lessons & Carols on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 4:00pm in St. George’s Church. This annual celebration holds a special place in the hearts of thousands of New Yorkers.
Over 1,000 guestshave joined us in singing their favorite carols, heard powerful readings that reveal the true meaning of Christmas, and listened to glorious music led by our choir and orchestra, under the direction of Kamel Boutros, music director of Calvary-St. George’s.
