Candlelight: A Service of Lessons and Carols

As one of New York’s oldest Episcopal churches, The Parish of Calvary-St. George’s was delighted to present “Candlelight: A Service of Lessons & Carols” on Sunday December 10 2023. This annual celebration holds a special place in the hearts of thousands of New Yorkers.

Over 700 guests joined us in singing their favorite carols, heard powerful readings that reveal the true meaning of Christmas, and listened to glorious music led by our choir and orchestra, under the direction of Kamel Boutros, music director of Calvary-St. George’s.
