Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner

  • Anderson Hall, Calvary Church 61 Gramercy Park North New York, NY, 10010 United States (map)

The day before the beginning of Lent is known as Shrove Tuesday. To shrive someone is to hear acknowledgement of their sins, to assure them of God's forgiveness, and to give them appropriate spiritual advice. Per tradition, our Vestry will serve the food, and after the meal, we will burn last year’s palms that will be used at Ash Wednesday services.
