Visiting Ministry

The Calvary-St. George's Visiting Ministry keeps in contact with members of the parish who are not able to attend services because of distance, health or age. 

Members of the team, who are invited to the ministry by the clergy, visit parishioners at their homes or living facility before and after surgeries, after the birth of a child or during short-term hospital stays. Clergy staff or licensed lay Eucharistic ministers deliver the Holy Communion upon request.

Members of the team meet monthly over lunch to report on the status and spiritual or other needs of those they visit.
