The parish of Calvary-St. George's is planning a weekend-long marriage workshop in early autumn, 2011.

Based on work by Harville Hendrix, PhD., author of the best-selling Getting the Love You Want, the weekend will be led by psychotherapist and pastoral counselor Gene Shelley, M. Div.

THE BOOK OF HEBREWS

Join us for a study of one of the great books of the New Testament, the letter to the Hebrews.

If you have never read the Bible or have no Bible study background, the letter to the Hebrews is a good place to start.  Thought to be written by St. Paul, the letter's writer makes the case for Jesus through the context of Jewish history and religious practices and leads us into Christian doctrine.  Connecting with the history of Christianity can provide hope and encouragement through the Lenten season.
